I fell in love with the cello when I was six-years-old. In fact at the music school in the string instruments department I chose cello, although I was somehow invited to choose another instrument. I eventually graduated and have Master’s Degree in cello performance. Every day the sound of this wonderful instrument fills my life as it is talking to me while responding to my playing.

I was lucky to study Cello Performance at the Novosibirsk Music College under the mentorship of Professor A. Lapkin who himself graduated under Mstislav Rostropovich, a world-renowned cellist.

I completed my Master’s Degree in the class of Associate Professor, Honoured Artist of Russian Federation Tatyana Lesenkova. She gave me the perfect model of a thoughtful, warm-hearted and responsible mentor.

After graduating, I enjoyed teaching cello to kids at the music school. At the Novosibirsk Youth Orchestra, where I performed, I obtained many valuable experiences which allowed me to take creative leadership of a string and piano ensemble which was involved with events on the municipal level on a permanent basis.

Ten years ago, I started collaborating with The Malta National Orchestra as a part time cellist. I love being part of small ensembles and quartets because every participant has a chance to shine. Since 2009, I have been playing cello by invitation of Professor H.J. Nagel at the ensemble and quartet of the University of Malta.

I also work at the SDA church as a leader of music department, responsible for playing cello and piano during services and in during all other events at the church.

I have expanded my teaching experience by giving lessons in both cello and piano as well as music theory, to adults and children. I also have experience teaching people with disabilities.

I look forward to meet with you to discuss your goals and a unique plan to help you begin or master your music skills.

The first lesson is a free 30 minute trial lesson. After that each lesson will be paid.
